Adriana Hernandez, College Counselor
Adriana joined Fulfillment Fund Las Vegas (FFLV) in July 2023. She has over ten years of experience in teaching and conducting research in the fields of education and public health. Adriana is rooted in Southern Nevada, and as a first-generation Latina student, she understands the assets students bring to their K-12 schooling and post-secondary pathways.
Adriana received her Bachelor of Science in Health Education with a focus in Community and a Master of Public Health with an emphasis in Social and Behavioral from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV). She is also pursuing a Ph.D. in Teacher Education at UNLV. Her primary research focuses on teachers of color, their preparation, recruitment, experiences, and retention in education.
Her service to the Las Vegas community includes volunteering with several community-based organizations. She also enjoys spending time with her family and friends in her free time. Adriana is excited to contribute to her community through her role with FFLV.
