Hellen Quan Lopez

Hellen Quan-Lopez, College Counselor

Hellen joined Fulfillment Fund Las Vegas in October of 2019. As a former Admissions and Recruitment Coordinator for the University of Nevada, Reno and an Academic Counselor for UNLV TRIO, she has worked closely with students every step of the admissions and financial aid process to ensure a smooth transition from high school to college.

During the past eighteen years, she has collaborated with community groups, schools and families to help them understand the value of preparing for college early. She has followed students throughout their college career to continue to provide services. As an immigrant and first-generation student, she identifies with the challenges many students face as they prepare for higher education.

Hellen is excited to be at Chaparral taking on the role of College Counselor. She looks forward to meeting with her students, being a resource to them and a bridge to the next phase of their journey.

Hellen is a graduate of the University of Nevada, Reno where she earned a bachelor’s in International Affairs and a minor in French & Journalism.

Students energize me, they remind me how much hope there is for the future. I’m also paying it forward as so many people took the time to guide me when I was young.
