About Fulfillment Fund Las Vegas: Expanding college access and student success across Southern Nevada

Fulfillment Fund Las Vegas is a nonprofit dedicated to expanding opportunity for students across Southern Nevada by ensuring their post-secondary paths are guided by choice, not circumstance.

Through a combination of college access programming, individualized counseling, in-classroom learning, scholarship and financial aid support, we equip students with the tools and confidence to pursue higher education or career pathways that align with their goals. By working closely with partner schools and engaging families along the way, we help students overcome barriers, make informed decisions about their futures, and build a foundation for long-term success.

Our Mission

Inspire students and remove barriers to post-secondary access and post-secondary graduation.

Our Vision

All students, regardless of their circumstances, will one day have the opportunity to attend college, graduate and actively participate in transforming their communities to create a better society.

Our History

Fulfillment Fund Las Vegas was established in 2012 to address the growing need for college access support among students in Southern Nevada.

Built on the proven model of the Fulfillment Fund in Los Angeles, an organization with more than 40 years of impact, our Las Vegas chapter brings a legacy of empowering students from under-resourced communities to pursue higher education and meaningful careers.

Since opening its doors, Fulfillment Fund Las Vegas has grown from serving just over 300 students at one school to reaching more than 5,500 high school students each year across partner schools in Clark County.

How We Got Here

After first connecting with Dr. Gary Gitnick, founder of the Fulfillment Fund in Los Angeles, our CEO Lindy Schumacher was inspired by the organization’s mission and the impact it was making for students in under-resourced communities. After working alongside the program and seeing its success firsthand, she recognized the need for similar support in Southern Nevada and led the effort to bring the model to Las Vegas, establishing partnerships with the Clark County School District to serve local students.
