Tony originally joined the Fulfillment Fund in Los Angeles in 2004 to teach 8th graders. He worked in Smart Skills, a program aimed at increasing middle school students’ academic achievement. He later switched departments to work in the College Pathways Project where he helped guide high school students in their pursuit of a college education. After completing graduate school, Tony moved on to become a school counselor in the Los Angeles Unified School District where he gained further insight working with students of various learning abilities. When the opportunity arose to work once again for the Fulfillment Fund as a College Counselor, this time in Las Vegas, he eagerly embraced it.
Tony has also worked with students in residential treatment centers and charter schools and has a broad understanding of students from a variety of backgrounds. He is an advocate for students taking full advantage of all educational resources in order to achieve academic success.
Tony is a graduate of the University of La Verne with a Bachelor of Science in Sociology. He earned his Master of Science degree in Education, with an emphasis in Counseling Psychology, and a California school counseling credential (PPS), from the University of Southern California.
